A-) Driving Licence, Driver Age & Card / Pre-Authorisation Conditions
To rent a vehicle, drivers must be at least 22 years old and must have held a valid national or international driving licence for at least 3 years.
The renter must have a valid credit card or debit/bank card issued in their own name. Our company accepts credit cards and debit/bank cards for payments and pre-authorisation transactions at the time of vehicle pick-up.
At the beginning of the rental, a pre-authorisation (temporary card hold) is placed on the renter’s card to cover possible traffic fines, motorway and toll charges, and other obligations arising from the rental agreement.
Pre-authorisation amounts vary according to vehicle category:
Passenger cars: €400
Minibuses and SUVs: €600
A pre-authorisation is not a direct charge. It is a temporary amount blocked on the card for security purposes.
Our company processes pre-authorisation transactions through the Türkiye İş Bankası payment infrastructure. If traffic fines or other legal charges incurred during the rental period are reported through the relevant official systems, the corresponding amount may be charged to the card within the scope of the pre-authorisation and transferred to the relevant authority.
If there are no traffic fines, toll charges or other outstanding amounts arising from the rental agreement, no amount will be charged to the customer from the pre-authorisation.
The time required for the pre-authorisation to be released and for the blocked amount to become available again may vary depending on the processing times of the card-issuing bank.
B-) Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period is 4 days.
C-) What Is Included in the Rental Price
The following services and coverage are included in the rental price:
Unlimited mileage
Rent A Car Comprehensive Insurance (with excess)
Compulsory Third-Party Liability Insurance – within the legally applicable coverage limits
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW – with excess)
Theft Protection (with excess)
VAT (20%) and local taxes
Maintenance and oil expenses
24-hour roadside assistance
1 (one) additional driver free of charge
Airport meet-and-greet and vehicle delivery service, subject to reservation conditions
Early booking benefits, where applicable
Documents and Cards Required at Vehicle Pick-Up
At the time of vehicle pick-up, the renter must present the following valid documents and cards:
Driving Licence
For Turkish citizens: Turkish National ID Card
For foreign customers: Passport
A valid credit card or debit/bank card issued in the renter’s own name
Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express (AMEX)
Debit cards are accepted.
Important: American Express (AMEX) is accepted at vehicle pick-up. However, AMEX cannot be used for the 10% online prepayment made at the final stage of the reservation process on our website.
Ç-) What Is Not Included in the Rental Price
The following services and expenses are not included in the standard rental price:
Fuel
One-way rental fees
Baby/child seats and other additional equipment
Optional additional insurance packages
Parking fees
Motorway, bridge and toll charges
Possible additional charges for vehicle delivery or return outside our offices/airports
D-) Payment & Deposit Conditions
A prepayment of at least 10% of the total rental amount may be required to confirm the reservation. The remaining rental amount is payable at vehicle pick-up.
For reservations made through our website, American Express (AMEX) credit cards are not accepted for the 10% prepayment at the final stage of the online reservation process.
At vehicle pick-up, payments can be made by credit card or debit/bank card in Turkish Lira (TRY) or in cash in Euro (EUR), US Dollar (USD), British Pound Sterling (GBP) or Turkish Lira (TRY).
Card details may be recorded in the rental agreement for the purpose of processing possible traffic fines, motorway and toll charges, and other obligations arising from the rental agreement.
E-) Insurance Information
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Standard Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rental price.
In the event of an accident or damage occurring in accordance with the insurance conditions, provided that all required official documents are obtained in full and the incident is reported to our company on time, the damage will be assessed in accordance with the insurance policy, rental agreement and applicable coverage conditions.
Any excess and customer liability conditions applicable under the standard insurance are subject to the vehicle category, insurance policy and the terms of the rental agreement signed at vehicle pick-up.
The excess, insurance coverage and customer liability conditions may not be the same in every situation. The exact coverage and liability conditions are determined in accordance with the applicable insurance policy and rental agreement.
Situations in Which Insurance Coverage May Become Invalid
Standard CDW coverage may become partially or completely invalid, particularly in the following situations:
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or substances that impair driving ability
Leaving the scene of an accident before the required procedures have been completed
Failure to obtain the required police/gendarmerie report, accident report, alcohol report or other official documents
Obtaining incomplete documents or failing to provide the required documents to our company
Failure to report the accident or damage to our company in a timely manner
The vehicle being driven by a person not registered in the rental agreement
Use of the vehicle for illegal activities, racing or purposes contrary to the rental agreement
Damage resulting from intentional acts, gross negligence or clear misuse by the renter/driver
Refuelling with the wrong type of fuel
Loss of the vehicle key or similar damage caused by the renter/driver
In single-vehicle accidents or accidents where the driver is found to be 100% at fault, all required official accident documents must also be obtained according to the nature of the incident, and our company must be informed immediately for the insurance coverage to apply.
The driver being found 100% at fault does not, by itself, automatically invalidate the insurance. Coverage is assessed in accordance with the official documents, insurance policy and provisions of the rental agreement.
If the insurance coverage becomes invalid, the standard insurance and excess conditions may not apply. In such cases, the renter may be charged for the vehicle repair costs and any other damages and expenses for which the renter is responsible under the rental agreement and applicable legislation.
Unless otherwise stated in the insurance policy or rental agreement, standard CDW does not cover lost keys, incorrect refuelling, or damage to tyres, windows/glass and headlights.
Optional Additional Insurance Packages
In addition to the standard insurance, our customers may choose Mini Insurance or Premium Insurance during the reservation process.
These insurance packages are optional and subject to an additional charge.
Mini Insurance
Mini Insurance provides additional protection for minor and medium-level damage in addition to standard CDW coverage.
Under the Mini Insurance package, damage up to TRY 10,000 may be covered, subject to the terms and conditions of the package.
Premium Insurance
Customers who prefer more comprehensive protection may choose our Premium Insurance package.
Under the Premium Insurance package, damage up to TRY 20,000 may be covered, subject to the terms and conditions of the package.
Premium Insurance also covers tyre, glass and headlight damage, subject to the package conditions.
Purchasing Mini Insurance or Premium Insurance does not automatically remove the renter’s liability in cases such as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use by an unauthorised driver, failure to obtain the required accident documents, failure to report the incident to our company, intentional acts, gross negligence or use contrary to the rental agreement.
The exact coverage, exclusions and coverage limits of the Mini and Premium Insurance packages are subject to the package conditions stated during the reservation process and the provisions of the rental agreement signed at vehicle pick-up.
F-) Theft Protection
For theft protection to apply, the vehicle must have been forcibly stolen, and the renter must be able to return the vehicle key to our company.
In the event of theft, the renter must immediately inform our company and the relevant law enforcement authorities and obtain an official police/gendarmerie report.
Coverage will be assessed in accordance with the applicable insurance policy and rental agreement.
G-) Additional Driver
In addition to the main renter/driver, the rental vehicle may be driven by a maximum of 1 (one) additional driver.
There is no additional charge for the second driver.
The additional driver must also meet the age and driving licence requirements stated in these rental conditions and must be added to the rental agreement with their driving licence details at the beginning of the rental.
Persons who are not registered in the rental agreement are not permitted to drive the vehicle.
H-) Additional Equipment
Child seats, snow chains and similar additional equipment may be provided upon request, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
I-) Flight Information
For airport vehicle deliveries, customers must provide accurate and up-to-date flight information.
It is the customer's responsibility to inform our company of any changes to the flight number or flight time.
M-) Vehicle Pick-Up & Return
Depending on availability and reservation conditions, vehicles may be picked up and returned at our offices, designated addresses or the airport.
If the vehicle is returned to a location different from the pick-up location, a one-way fee may apply.
Ö-) Late / Early Return
Late Return
If the vehicle is returned after the return time specified in the rental agreement:
For delays of up to 3 hours, no additional fee will be charged, provided that the customer informs our company in advance and receives approval.
For delays of more than 3 hours, one additional day's rental fee will be charged.
The renter may not return the vehicle late without informing our company and may not extend the rental period without our approval.
Early Return
If the vehicle is returned before the date specified in the rental agreement, no refund will be provided for unused rental days.
R-) Vehicle Condition
The vehicle must be returned in the same general condition in which it was received.
If the vehicle is returned excessively dirty beyond normal use, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.
Existing damage is recorded at the time of vehicle pick-up. Any new damage occurring during the rental period will be assessed in accordance with the rental agreement and insurance conditions.
S-) Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the cost of the missing fuel will be charged to the renter.
If the vehicle is returned with more fuel than at the time of pick-up, no refund will be provided for the additional fuel.
Ş-) Traffic Fines, Motorways & Toll Charges
All traffic fines, motorway, bridge, HGS, parking and similar usage/toll charges incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.
Traffic fines or toll charges that are subsequently reflected in official systems may be charged for the corresponding amount within the scope of the pre-authorisation placed at the beginning of the rental.
T-) Cancellation Conditions
If the reservation is cancelled at least 5 days before the scheduled vehicle pick-up date, the prepayment made for the reservation will be refunded.
The time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account or card may vary depending on the payment method used and the processing times of the relevant bank.
U-) General Conditions
Our company may provide certain services through business partners when necessary due to operational requirements.
For vehicle-category reservations, if the reserved vehicle model is unavailable, an equivalent vehicle with the same or similar characteristics may be provided.
Rental conditions and prices may be changed in accordance with legislation, insurance conditions and operational requirements.
The rental agreement signed at vehicle pick-up and the applicable insurance/package conditions form an integral part of the rental.
