Kesik Minare
The most important church in the Pamphylia Region in the sixth century was buid at the intersection of Hesapçı Street and Sakarya Street, where the old Roman Agora was located. This building, used as a church until the beginning of 16th century, was transformed into a mosque during the governance of Shahzadah Korkut, when a minaret was added. The wooden parts of the mosque where destroyed by a fire in the 19th century, and since then, the mosque has been known as the "Kesik Minare"(the Cut Minaret)
The Groowed Minarette Complex
The Grooved Minarette, the symbol of the city, was build during the period of Alaeddin Keykubad, the Seljuk Sultan... It is brick tower built on a pedestal made of ashlars and was once covered by faiance. The second most important building of the Groowed Minaret complex, is the Ulu Mosque, which is also known as the Groowed Minaret Mosque. The mosque was built at the north of Groowed Minaret, by Alaeddin Keykubad I. Ulu Moaque is covered by six domes on 12 columns with two entrances to the north and to the west. Another building in the complex is a lodge used by the Mevlevi Dervishes. This building, built during the reign of the Seljuks, was converted into a lodge in 18th century by the governor. The building was covered with four brick domes. The old bath, with three domes and interesting architecture, is located near this building, and serves as an art gallery today... The tomb of Zincirkiran Mehmet Bey, located in the complex of the Grooved Mi-narette, is near Cumhuriyet Avenue. İskele Mescidi
This small building, with a hexagonal plan and two floors, was built in the old port. When this masjid was built and two built it is unknown. Murat Pasha Mosque
According to the testament of Murat Pasha, the governor-general of Karaman region who died in 1571, the mosque was built in 1574 notrh of the city, outside the city walls. It is writen on the deed of the foundation that, Murat Paşa allotted the revenue of land, bridges and caravasariesaround Antalya, to the expenses of constructing new irrigation channels, public works and housing and to the expenses of the mosque, which he requested to be built after his death. The mosque is covered by one convex roof... The sole minaret of the mosque has two balconies.
